The
law of mutual benefit provides that meaningful relationship is only possible
when respect, honor and value are mutually shared. The quality of any
relationship is completely dependent upon the willingness of mutual pursuit. These
are the words of Dr. Robb D. Thompson in his book “10 Critical Laws of
Relationships”
The
song I’m particularly excited about here is titled “Bleed the same”. Mandisa
has a greatly inspired voice, perfectly pitched with musical precision. The
feature of Kirk Franklin and TobyMac gives the track an excellent brilliance
that rates the song perfect.
“Only
love can drive out all the darkness….
We
were made to carry one another…”
Many
people find it difficult to understand the need for the presence and existence
of others. Some just have a twisted
understanding of the essence of life. They think that their race or community
is super superior and other human beings who cannot speak a particular language
or do not subscribe to their life, culture and belief cannot be regarded or
respected.
If
the content of one’s character is even
more despicable than ever, it is not enough to burn them out with words,
ideologies, policies, cruelty or plain fire.
The lines “…woke up today, another
headline, another innocent life is taken in the name of hatred…” typically
describe the daily pain and disgust I feel everyday- and night because I get my
share of hate from those who love to hate me. “My heart is breaking…” not just
for the situation in many countries and communities all over the world but also
for the universal decay caused by our inhumanity to each other.
When
you judge people by the color of their skin, you kill the very essence of their
humanity. Live and let live is the ideal ideology because so much more is
needed to keep our world functioning appropriately. Respect the fact that I am
different from you, with the understanding that together we must make a
difference.
We
all bleed the same truly. I need you, me, and all of us to live together: happy
or sad, feeling high or low.
My
tears drop for victims of hate in all the numerous ways and places. My laugh is
loudly shared with you when you do those little or big things to treat people
with respect and dignity.
