for the song #Sometin by @omawumi
Just
love who you love, Life is too short to do anything Else –Omawumi
@omawumi
dear sister, we @themusopole hereby present to you these multiple awards in
words. Yes it is not tangible or physically displayed (for now) but the fact of
appreciation and genuine celebration of excellence is what gives this
documented plaque its priceless attribute. This article styled
#animateExpressions speaks a bit about the impact of your music to us as
related in this personal experience.
Imperfection
is nothing but a classification that has an effect only on the minds of people
who need the approval of others before they feel good about what they’ve gat,
what they do and who they are.
My
story is one of perfection as this song fires up the perspective of always
seeing and loving the ‘best’ which I know is mine.
One
remarkable day, the love of my life met me. That day was not particularly a
red-letter day, (it was kind of like a love-lettered day) since the only thing
that makes my heart beat in the direction of affection is my emotion. So think
of the special person in the day not the day as such.
The
love was ignited at once, (he tells me he loved me before he met me…hmmm talk
about biblical allusion…) and for a while now we’re building our relationship.
He comes to me with all his love, a thousand kisses written all over his huge
gap-toothed smile, totally skinny, no muscular, huge tall imposing or
commanding appearance.
“He
loves me just the way I like it, that’s what I need…leave am for me”
I
am a happy girl, clinging to everything this young man brings to show that he
desires me over and over, truly. If he cannot buy me all the finest things in
life (for now), am not complaining. I see a great man in him, I will continue
to remind him daily that I value him more than anything in the entire world.
He
is my everything good and lovely. The totally masculine affection in his eyes
whenever he makes those funny gestures trying to emphasize his position when we
are together is priceless!
Omawumi
sings “two shirt, one shoe, one trouser…” I know that those lines are lyrical
imagery and metaphoric words but they still carry literal realities. First,
this man has two particular shirts that I always find pleasure in getting
stained with the rainbows from my daily professional make-up artistry. I love
it <lol> it gets him soooooooooo stirred up. Second, that ‘one shoe’ wow!
He never lets me step on ‘em, Jesus! The way he treasures the shoe-brush and
the handkerchief he wipes ‘em with gets me to marvel, am thinking “hope he love
me more” “what is the meaning of this” “for r-e-a-l?” And third, yes! He has
the one special trouser. I confiscated from him, reshaped it with my truthful
hips in collaboration with my gorgeous, shapely & conspicuously endowed behind
(his words not mine).
Please
don’t say to me “the best is yet to come”. The best my ‘Best’ and no one can
talk me out of it. Nothing can get in the way of what we share. My face
radiates, my heart is brave & my hormones are fired up for him. Always!
Yeah! And am always on the jealous look-out, ready to yell “back off
girlfriend!!!” or “thunder fire you!!!” when anyone comes along with
unacceptable dispositions and suggestions.
God
save the “Queen” and who or whatever represents “Dolapo” but I will crush her
if she tries to take my man… however she comes and in whatever form. It does
not matter if it is a dream or just my mind holding firm to my fears. I
-Voguam
